It happened! SCREW announced a European tour for 2012. Oh the excitement! And as much as I'd like to stay my calm and composed self, it's practically impossible. I'm quietly giggling and dancing around the room, singing their songs and I can't wait for the summer to come. I've listened to them since their very first song and even though I'm not like a die hard fan since the beginning, I've warmed up to them over time and now I'm going a wee bit lunatic while thinking of the fact that I'll be as close as I can be to yet another great band I simply adore. THIS IS WAY MORE THAN JUST AWESOME!

My three best things in 2011. I could write some more but then the number would be weird like 4 or 8 and we don't want that to happen :)

1. Dir en grey concert in August. I've been waiting to see them for about five years and it finally happened. It was magical.
2. Slash. He is such a joyful little thing who pisses me off on a daily basis but I can never be mad at him for more then 10 minutes.
3. My best birthday present to myself, a DSLR which I've wanted for quite some time now.

Party preparations :)
It wasn't really a party though, just a small get-together with my friends to celebrate my birthday on Saturday. It was finally a perfect time to use one of my fabric tapes and make little flags with names for straws. So that finally everybody always knew which glass is theirs :D This wonderful idea was a little stolen from this pretty blog post here ;)

I'm such a procrastinator. I've been meaning to write an update at least six times already, but I never got pass the draft version. But in my defence, I've been quite a busy bee lately. I've been going to my new work place to learn and prepare stuff, because I'll start working at the University in January.
I also had my birthday yesterday! YAAAAY ME :D I celebrated on Saturday and it was really great. Above are my lovely gifts, a moleskine film journal and an amazing tea set. I also got a lovely chocolate cake made from the heart with a lot of rum :P I'll probably put on more detailed pics later on, because as it's seen from the picture... I FINALLY GOT A DSLR! :D :D :D It's a Nikon D5100 and he's awesome! I kinda named him Henrie (A French twist of Henry VIII, because yes I watch Tudors way too much). I took a little gazillion of pics with him already but I left my transfer cable at baby's place so those pics will have to wait a little. What else? Hm, that's pretty much it. I'll put on a huge picture post tomorrow probably, since today in the evening we're planning to go out a little. We'll see how that turns out :D

I really like checking what's in other people's bags. It's not that I'm nosy, I just find it really interesting. And also get some great ideas :) I can spend a lot of time checking out pictures in the "what's in your bag?" group. Some are better then the others, but it's all good time. I prefer it when the things are nicely laid out on the table so you can see what's in there, sometimes there's just a pile of stuff which is kinda hard to figure out.

I've been very hooked on yoga lately. It's so relaxing yet challenging at the same time. I'm doing it every morning and sometimes also in the afternoon as a warm-up for any other kind of workout. I love Tara Stiles's yoga videos, she makes it look so easy and fun. It's great. I love it.

I got a new Moleskine planner a while ago. I went from pocket size to large since I find it more spacey and it can hold a lot more post-it notes :) I had to rewrite everything from my little one into the big one, but it was great fun.

And these two should be in the previous post but as it turned out I didn't put them on the computer from the big camera, so here they are now. Oh, great times.

IT FINALLY HAPPENED!
After almost six years of waiting D and I finally got to see the divine creation that is Dir en Grey. This is a short tale of our three day trip to Budapest, together with some pictures (that are in variety of qualities but don't let that bother you) and serious passing out.

Let's start at the beginning, right? Last Wednesday (I can't believe it will already be a week) the four of us gathered at the railway station at 10am, to catch the train to Budapest. We went a day earlier because the train got there around 6pm and we wanted to be in line way earlier.

Anyways, it was mad hot on the train and in Budapest, even though we got there after 6pm we were melting and the 7 hour train ride took the toll on us when we were looking for the subway station for 20mins and it was right in front of us. Ahhh, good times. When we finally figured out the public transport system we went to search for the hostel, which looked like not such a great place at first, but when we got in and saw everything it was magnificent.

After that we had some pasta for dinner and headed out for a night stroll around our part of the city. It was pretty spectacular, everything is so huge and old.

We stayed up quite late and that resulted in our not waking up when we planned. Hah. We also had quite an adventure with the tramways because first they threw us of one and we had to take the bus, which threw us off again after five stops so we had to take another tram. We got down two stops too early and had to go on yet another tram which then got us to the hall.

The time was around 12.30pm I think. We arrived just at the time that Diru's bus also came and we casually walked by, it was wonderful. And by casually I seriously mean that, we didn't scream or wave or run, we were smooth, haha. We stood in line for about 6 hours before they opened the door and we were sweating like crazy, it was hot even in the shade. I think it was around 35-36°c out there. So we were quite wiped out even before entering the hall. But boy was it great when we got in.

I don't have any pictures from during the show, because M had my phone in her pocket and also the part of the crowd we were in was so wild they would've easily rip it off me. Somehow we managed to get in the 2nd/3rd line between Kyo and Die. I must admit that I spent 98% of the concert just gazing at the god-like vocalist and absorbing his awesomeness. Of course I threw an eye at the other guys to, for a few minutes but otherwise I was completely amazed by his presence. And even if that sounds ridiculous, it's true. I'm screaming on the inside, still. Also, there was like 20 people that passed out in the front, security guys kept dragging them over the fence and out of the hall, it was hot like in hell. My breath got a little heavy a few times but I promised to myself that I'm not passing out even if I die later. And I survived.

I think it's pretty correct. I don't have to mention that I bawled my eyes out at "ain't afraid to die". I love that song so much and I didn't think they'd play it, it was a nice surprise. I wanted to hear "THE FINAL" so badly, but it's okay. I'll wait for another time :)
At the end Kyo just walked out of stage, puf and he was gone. The others threw some picks, waved, ... Shinya threw his drum membrane, if that's how it's called. And M and I fought for it really hard, I was so determined not to let it go. I was bending over, since one girl was one the floor holding the thing and I was hugging it from above, it was almost mine. But then some crazypsychobitch girl decided to kick me with the knee in the chest and I suddenly couldn't breath in and it got black in front of my eyes. So they pushed me on the ground and took the membrane. It took a while for M to see I was down, since she got bitten and scratched herself, but she managed to pull me together so I got up. She said we don't need that for a proof that we're fans of them, which is true, but I still hope that "girl" gets hit with a pole or something. You don't kick people ... what the hell. The crowd in Hungary is the craziest, we noticed that at D'espairs ray last year and this just confirmed it. Next time, I'm so fighting back!

All in all, it was a wonderful time. It was the best! It was captivating! If it's possible, I think I love them even more now.

Iced coffee!
To be honest, I'm not a fan of coffee. Actually I don't drink coffee at all unless it's like three times diluted with milk or at our favorite coffee bar, mmm with a lot of milk foam and cinnamon :) But lately I've been loving cold brewed iced coffee, with very little coffee and a lot of milk + ice. It's delicious.

Here's a recipe, if you'd like to try it.
I sometimes add a little cocoa powder or cinnamon to it and that makes it even better.

Ain't he a beauty?
We have a new addition to our family. It's a little Staffordshire terrier. He's only 4 weeks old, because his mum stopped feeding the puppies and we got him a bit too early. He's actually K's, but I'm his step mum and I take care of him during the day, besides we're together all the time so I take it he's a little bit mine too ;) He's so adorable, you'd just want to squeeze him. Even though I haven't slept since Monday, thanks to him, because I have to feed him every three or so hours and when he wakes up he crawls all over me so my nights are pretty exciting. Oh, his name is Slash and no it has nothing to do with the guitarist of Guns'n'roses, even though we like him :D

Mandu

My weird obsession with jars and how I eat/drink everything out of them.

I just decided I should post more about kitchen stuff. I cook/bake almost everyday and the family says I'm getting pretty good at it, besides it's one of the rare things I like to do.

On Monday I made Mandu (Korean dumplings). I think they came out pretty good looking, considering this was my first time making them. I made the dough and the stuffing all by myself :) They were a healthy version, with whole-grain flour and chicken meat and more veggies then the recipe stated, but they were freaking delicious. Like, seriously. My family isn't really fond of Asian food but they munched it all up and said I can do them again. I'll take that as a good thing.

And I've been showing a weird interest in jars lately. Like the ones you put jam in and such. They're just so cool. And they're all different. Also, you cane store stuff in them and take it with you ... the only minus in that is that they're made out of glass thus they can be broken, but I already made a little wrappings for two of them so there's no fear. K doesn't get this ingenious idea, I made her ice coffee in one and she laughed like a monkey, as well as my brother. Oh, well, what can you do about it. I like 'em.

I have some really good reasons why I didn't update for such a long time:

I've been home for two days all together in the past two weeks.

I couldn't find my transfer cable for the camera.

I've been a little bit lazy when I actually had the time to do it.

Other than that, nothing very new has happened here.

On Friday there was this airshow event at the airport and we went to check it out. It was pretty fly :) Oh the unintentional word play, heh.
We went there with bikes and the next day my butt almost fell off, not to mention it was pouring rain on the way back which made everything even more fun.

These are the "red arrows", their show was fantastic! :D

And this is one of the loudest and fastest planes in the world. It had that little fire-like-a-rocket at the back and it was seriously ear wrecking. Enjoyable to watch though.

Long time no talk... or no write, whichever :)

I haven't mention it before I think, but I was at a concert about two weeks ago. "orochi" was the name of the band. I quite liked the music and their drummer... he was pretty delicious. But the singer wasn't so good and since my ears are so spoiled by great voices such as Ruki's, Kyo's... etc. I was pretty much horrified every time the guy opened his mouth. And I don't mean to be evil, but he should get some vocal lessons, just to make things sound better.

I know you can see squat. But the black haired guy is the drummer... ohhhhhh. Memories! x)

This was on the shelf for a week ... or even more. Because when somebody gets the mail, mine awaits me on my desk. But for some reason this little envelope was put up on a shelf in living room and I had no idea it was for me until I got nosy and was like "heeey, for who is this?" and nobody had any idea what I'm talking about, so I took it down and saw it was for me, from soulmatie. When I discover who put it up there I shall seriously kick his butt. But nevertheless, it's in my hands now, wheee~ :D

Oh boy, it's been a long time since the last post, I know. But I've been busy with different stuff, then I was lazy and for the past few days photobucket didn't work -.-' And I have a ton of pictures to share, yay. So this is basically a picture post of the past month or so. :)

First, I'll share my little sheep beast! Hihi. She really doesn't like it when I take pictures of her, she keeps turning away, camera shy apparently.

Dad celebrated his 50th B-day and I made him this time-line in pictures, it was more work then I imagined, but it came out really good. I put all these pictures on a black poster, it was about 3 meters long :) I'll put on a picture of it whole when I get them.

Smoothie addiction. Banana + apple + strawberries + spinach ... surprisingly good! :)

On saturday we had a picnic... last minute shopping and all the bags got torn haha. It was quite funny. So we borrowed a shopping cart to get all of the things home.

Got this as a present from dad's friend that hand-makes things. He's awesome! :) + it's almost the same as Tatsu's bracelet and it goes around my hand 4 times... like his. So relevant! :P

I'm really hungry. But I'll update this before i stroll to the kitchen.

So, as you all might know, last Sunday I was In Germany (Munchen) to see Girugamesh :D :D :D I went there with a friend, we took the night train both ways. Seven hours of train fun ... or well sleeping and jamming to music x) The trip was super cool by itself. But of course I shall not forget to mention the mega godness that is Girugamesh :)

The concert was great. They made an awesome atmosphere and Satoshi's voice is just like wow *_* It was amazing. And Ryo was so cute all along, he was all smiley face and sang along and during his drum solo he was like "bam bam bam" hahaha it was so adorable.
BUT WHAT WAS EVEN MORE AWESOME WAS THAT WE GOT AUTOGRAPHS!!! AND HUGS *crazy giggle*
~~Ryo's hair is so soft... ahhh :P~~

This song is super catchy even though the English may be a little bit hard to understand at some points. ~~I could make that pronunciation better. Call me x)~~. Hey there bitchass, I'll see you in 6 days :D
The time flew by pretty fast and now it's less then a week left until Girugamesh concert. SWEETGACKT! Oh the excitement. I'll have to smack somebody though, because they're not playing "asking why" or "melody" or "crying rain" -.-' Good thing at least there will be "volcano" and "jarring fly". Also I'm falling for "border" with each day more 8D I don't know a lot of lyrics though :O But it's all good.
(sidetracking...) There was these two little chicks at MUCC in January that didn't even know the band name and the names of the members... not that I find that crucial but seriously... you pinch me in the ribs, step on my foot, kick me and try to be in the very first row, yet you don't know the name of the band? What the ...? ~~I don't regret hitting her. I'd do it again.~~ I'm evil when it comes to first row and stuff, haha. I should chill. ~~But I won't.~~

Let's see what else is new... OH! I finally got to talk with Deli after such a long time! :* It was super awesome, she always knows what to say and she reads my mind which is always a plus ;P

I'm doing this 52 week project at flickr and I'm so behind... 4 weeks I think. Haha. I'm so not good at committing to things and I lack inspiration so badly :( That's also why I haven't done anything in my art-journal-scrapbook thing for almost two weeks now. I have things sketched out and so but I just don't find the time to actually do anything. And I have so much time. It's really confusing.

This one is from when it was still 4 days to MUCC :) So long ago... I really must make something new. Now... I have time till 6pm. Let's get creative.

Oh, and I cuddled the cutest little chinchillas ever! *_* I named one Ruki and I would totally take him home but I can't :(

I know I haven't posted a lot lately, I've been occupied with different things. But I decided it's time for more of a happy natured post, so here I go. Something I like (this may even be new series of posts).

I'm more of a cat person, I've always been. Cats are so cute and fluffy and cuddly. But I have a dog for around 6 months now and she stole my heart. I want too many dogs though, I'll need to have a long life...or a huge house to fulfil all my animal wishes :D Anyway, here's four of my top breeds.

Pitbull terier or Staffordshire terrier. Apparently I like masculine dogs. But I love these because they represent such raw power. And if they're raised right they're also real cuddle bears.

Chiuaua. I just fell in love with my cousin's little midget dog. She's such a cutie pie. I don't like all the chiuauas though :/ But I want a gray/steel one and I'd put it in my pocket :D If you didn't say "awww" to the picture above, you're heartless.

Alaskan Malamute or Siberian husky. I want one of these dogs since I was a tiny little girl ;) I want to ride sleds with them. They're so puffy and just plain cute. Also they resemble wolves so much, which is also a good reason why I love them.

Great Dane. This dogs are so fucking fabulous it hurts. They're such gentle giants. I want one! A blue coated Great Dane with pointy ears that I'll name Ares. Isn't it an awesome name? And an awesome dog.

I am definitely nowhere near perfect.
I never brush my hair and I don't have the most charming laugh in the history. I'm late a lot, but on the other hand I really hate waiting for somebody. I have really tiny hands, like seriously tiny. I dislike a lot of colors, which is obvious in my almost all-black closet, yet I can't match clothes properly. I bite my nails, it's a horrible thing to do and I'm trying to stop but it's a life long habit. My music taste is quite unconventional, or so I've been told. I have a sense of rhythm but I can't dance for nothing in the world. I have oily skin and quite some blackheads, which drive me insane but I just can't get rid of them. I can turn everything you say into something perverted, just try me. I adore Evian water bottles way too much, something about their shape is just appealing to me. I can't sing to save my life. When I get angry I can have quite a high-pitched voice. My teeth is fucked up, not really bad, but bad enough. My body is a mess, nothing seems to be in the right place. I like to scribble and journal, but my drawing skills are below zero. I screwed up school, big time, yet I don't really regret it. I like alcohol way too much sometimes, but it's just my way of letting go. I don't like checking the time. I am way too introverted and shy. I also can't express myself well. I'm afraid to get attached and I loathe people who are judgmental.
But you seemed to accept all that, so I did too.

And then, there's you.
For me you are the silver lining of perfection. For yourself, you're not good enough. Your smile is delightful and it lights up the room. Your bottom-line teeth are just a little crooked, but that makes you all the more special. Your eyes are incomparable with any others, not by color or shape. When you don't have a pony-tail you look like a little lion and it really makes your face shine. Your body is athletic and when you complain about gaining weight, it's just adorable, since you can get rid of it in a heart beat. Also, when you eat too much and your belly gets big, those moments are precious. You are so self-conscious about everything, sometimes even paranoid and I really wish I'd tell you more how great you look and how nobody could ever look down of you, since they're nowhere near the greatness that you posses. You're actually great with people even though you might have a hard time trusting them, but you have that aura that just drags them in your direction. You might have a skin condition that gives you a hard time, but you still manage to look amazing when you're going out and nobody seems to notice your problem. Your style matches your personality pretty good. Your music taste can relate to a lot of people, so you don't really have trouble when looking for company. I didn't mean to take such a long time off, but I got sick last week and was basically just lying in bed for three days, then I couldn't get myself together to write anything. So here I am now... after two weeks :)

After a long contemplation I decided that I won't put my pictures with MUCC up on any website. Not because I'm selfish and don't want to share the goodies with you, but simply because I respect their privacy and the fact that we were actually able to take pictures with them is overwhelming by itself.
But I don't want to leave you completely picture-less so I'll share this;

Karma, ticket and autographs. Yes that is real life. /runs around in circles
I was pleasantly surprised when the guy at the entrance took my ugly ticket (the normal blue eventim one) and gave me this original, I was all "THANK YOUUUU" :D Such a small thing, yet it means a lot, to me at least.

And yes I put a watermark on my picture, because I saw one floating around some sites and just... ahhh why would you steal a picture that isn't even yours? It sucks to be you. I know that this can be easily erased or cropped out or whatever but for my calm mind I'll leave it there, the watermark that is 8D

On another note, I miss my nails :(

I don't think I've shared a picture before but I had nails... ahhh so pretty. Then they got broken off and my real nails got demolished -.-' My goal is to grow nails again, yes. And to seriously stop biting them... seriously! /smacks self

Expect some pictures tomorrow because I'll be doing tempura veggies with Obsie :D Yay us!

I TOUCHED TATSU, EVERYTHING ELSE IS IRRELEVANT.

THE LIVE WAS AMAZING, OF COURSE. BY THE END WE WERE SOAKED WITH SWEAT AND EXCITEMENT. AND THEN... THEN WE MET THEM BACKSTAGE *_* AND AND AND WE GOT AUTOGRAPHS AND WE GOT PICTURES AND WE TOUCED /MAJOR HYPERVENTILATION. I WAS UBER POLITE AND THANKED THEM FOR EVERYTHING BUT ON THE INSIDE I WAS RUNNING AROUND IN CIRCLES, I STILL AM. REALITY CHECK COMES NEXT WEEK, I'M STILL HIGH FROM EXCITEMENT :D

Guess who has a super painful bladder infection?
Oh yes, it's me in all my awesomeness. It hurts like hell. Like somebody's stabbing me with a knife, over and over again. And the pills don't help either. Nothing really helps for a longer period of time at least. I get to drink this delicious cranberry tea and juice though, that's the only good thing. And laying in a fetus position all night and day. My legs are starting to feel numb O: I should move around a little. I have to get better quickly. Very quickly, because on Friday there will be an open air concert with my beloved band, we need to attend. But that still doesn't even compare to next week. Ah, next week.

In exactly 9 days the spectacular evet will take place in Munchen. We're going back to Munchen. We're going to see MUCC! Again, yes again. 9 FREAKING DAYS AND THEN WE EXPLODEEE! :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR :D
I know I've wished it already but I just wanted to write it again, in case anybody missed it ;P I just want to share some pictures of late Christmas presents and cute stuff.

I bought half of LUSH basically, because I love their stuff too much. I got this cool shower jelly that smells like iced wine and it's so delicious :D And a soap, bathbomb and a creamy-like wash for the face. Yay.

My cute Korean stuff that were a present to me from myself :D

And I got these two little rascals for Katja. Their cuteness is too much.

Also, too much drinking over the holidays made my face explode :/ So I decided to do some detoxifying with plenty of face masks and also eating only fruits for a week. Let's see how that will turn out.

2010 -> 2011

So we’re almost there, two and a half hours away from January 1st of 2011. At least in our time zone (:
This past year was pretty good for me I must say. And I’m hoping for the next year to be even better! I made some resolutions that I’ll try to stick to, hopefully I’ll make it.

- spend more time with friends (definitely must do this)
- get a decent part-time job and make some money
- save money (for a new DSLR, for a trip, for concerts, for everything)
- exercise
- get in decent concert shape otherwise I’ll be passing out again
- finish the 52 week project
- travel somewhere in the summer
- shoot film more
- write letters

(that's all I came up with for now hihi)

This is my last post dated 2010. Hope you all have a great jump into the next year and have a blast in 2011! :D

If you didn't know this already, I LOVE TEA :D
And I think I just found my favorite tea ever! Well not ever, because I still have my super ultra nb. 1 tea, which is this:

Japanese Sencha, om nom nom. And it has such a great packaging, I love it.

But yesterday my mom bought these:

SO DELICIOUS! I'm a sucker for green tea and such. These are yummi! There's a green tea with mint, green tea with morrocan flavour - my current favourite, and black tea with berries which I haven't tried yet but I bet it's splendid! :D

And with these three teas mom also got this huge red mug, I love huge mugs hihi and I claimed it as my own right away.

I shall take a minute and talk about my music. It means a great deal to me. Even if the artists seem so far away from reach and everything, J-rock basically saved my life and soul and totally changed my aspect on life. No matter how silly that may sound, it's true. So it breaks my heart when I see that j-rockers are sick, or something alike. Specially the one's I listen to a lot, and like. And I know it probably doesn't even matter, but to me it does. Crazy or not, it's just how it is.

And recently one of my "beloved" j-rocker got diagnosed with an infection of the vocal chords and he's taking a break from the band. He posted such a lovely post on his blog:
