I'm such a procrastinator. I've been meaning to write an update at least six times already, but I never got pass the draft version. But in my defence, I've been quite a busy bee lately. I've been going to my new work place to learn and prepare stuff, because I'll start working at the University in January.
I also had my birthday yesterday! YAAAAY ME :D I celebrated on Saturday and it was really great. Above are my lovely gifts, a moleskine film journal and an amazing tea set. I also got a lovely chocolate cake made from the heart with a lot of rum :P I'll probably put on more detailed pics later on, because as it's seen from the picture... I FINALLY GOT A DSLR! :D :D :D It's a Nikon D5100 and he's awesome! I kinda named him Henrie (A French twist of Henry VIII, because yes I watch Tudors way too much). I took a little gazillion of pics with him already but I left my transfer cable at K's place so those pics will have to wait a little. What else? Hm, that's pretty much it. I'll put on a huge picture post tomorrow probably, since today in the evening we're planning to go out a little. We'll see how that turns out :D

I got a new Moleskine planner a while ago. I went from pocket size to large since I find it more spacey and it can hold a lot more post-it notes :) I had to rewrite everything from little one into the big one, but it was great fun.

Remember some time ago when I made this post? Well, my wish pretty much came true just a few days ago.
Ain't he just precious? ♥ We have a new addition to our family. It's a little Staffordshire/Pitbull terrier mix and his name is Slash. He's only 4 weeks old which is way too little, but we're going to give him all the special care and love in the world. He's so adorable, you'd just want to squeeze him and give him kisses and squeal from cuteness. Even though I haven't slept since Monday, thanks to him, because I have to feed him every three or so hours and when he wakes up he crawls all over me so my nights are pretty exciting and sleepless, but I who would mind it when he's just the most lovable little furball.

The time flew by pretty fast and now it's less then a week left until Girugamesh concert. SWEETGACKT! Oh the excitement. I'll have to smack somebody though, because they're not playing "asking why" or "melody" or "crying rain" -.-' Good thing at least there will be "volcano" and "jarring fly". Also I'm falling for "border" with each day more 8D I don't know a lot of lyrics though :O But it's all good.
Let's see what else is new... OH! I finally got to talk with Deli after such a long time! :* It was super awesome, she always knows what to say and she reads my mind which is always a plus.
I'm doing this 52 week project at flickr and I'm so behind... 4 weeks I think. Haha. I'm so not good at committing to things and I lack inspiration so badly :( That's also why I haven't done anything in my art-journal-scrapbook thing for almost two weeks now. I have things sketched out and so but I just don't find the time to actually do anything. And I have so much time. It's really confusing.
Oh, and I cuddled the cutest little chinchillas ever! *_* I named one Ruki and I would totally take him home but I can't :( I still wonder why I decided on Ruki being his name. It's just when I got to hold him I was like "awww so small and cute, you shall be Ruki" I guess small makes me think of him and then things move on their own :) Like I once named a bunny at the pet store Uru.

At this time, 2:15am, exactly 19 years ago... *drumroll* I WAS BORN!
So here I am, another year older, not much wiser, not yet at least. A few years before me, quite some if I can guess, the wonderful man named Kiyoharu was also born on the same day. And I am happy for that, because the man made some seriously good music. I'm also happy for my teeny tiny prodigy that I'm so grateful to have as a friend who made my night with the cutest text message, thank you very much, it means a lot:*
PS: Another thing I'm super happy about is the wonderful world of j-rock which accompanies me for the past four years and has made my life a bit better each day and also kept me up all night tonight. Now I'll drink, for the birthday party of two :) cheers!
